Jo’s love for dance has been a lifelong journey, beginning almost as soon as she could walk. Growing up in Essex, she was immersed in the world of dance, thanks to her grandparents, who were renowned dance teachers and owners of a local dance school. It was on their dance floor that Jo first discovered her passion.

Jo’s early training included ballet, tap, and modern stage dance until the age of 11, when she decided to specialize in ballroom and Latin American dance. Her dedication led her to compete in numerous competitions and excel in various dance examinations over the years. Alongside her competitive pursuits, Jo has devoted countless hours to helping others achieve their dance aspirations.

Her journey has been shaped by the guidance of top world-ranking professionals, (including lessons with Phil when she was a teenager) during her life.

 

Now, as an experienced dancer herself, Jo is eager to share the wealth of knowledge and expertise she has gained with others.
